Solving Konqueror cannot display Chinese

Just installed the KDE on my Ubuntu, and the Internet explorer comes with the KDE is the Konqueror, however the first time  I was using the Konqueror found it cannot display the Chinese properly, all becomes gubbish characters, found the solution by google, by copying the fonts from the windows system, 1, mount the windows C drive, you needs to see the hard drive name of the C drive sudo mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/c 2, copy the fonts from the windows font folder Windows font folder is as: /mnt/c/windows/Fonts Destination Ubuntu folder is as: /usr/share/fonts I copied as many fonts as possible, not sure which one took effect, which includes: msmincho.ttc msgothic.ttc mingliu.ttc arial.ttf cour.ttf micross.ttf per_____.ttf verdana.ttf batang.ttc gulim.ttc mingliu.ttc simsun.ttc, simsun.ttc etc.

Ubuntu wireless network connection in command line

After installed the the graphical card driver in Ubuntu, the gnome desktop was not working anymore, needs to install and setup the wireless network in command line, herewith the procedure, 1, scan the available wifi network, sudo iwlist scan 2, receive the wifi network password   wpa_passphrase YOURSSID YOURWIFIPASSWORD the result is similar as:   network={ ssid="YOURSSID" #psk="YOURWIFIPASSWORD" psk=fe727aa8b64ac9b3f54c72432da14faed933ea511ecab1 5bbc6c52e7522f709a } 3, edit the /etc/network/interfaces   sudo vim /etc/network/interfaces my configuration is as:   auto wlan0 iface wlan0 inet dhcp gateway wpa-psk "the password psk just generated" wpa-ssid "YOURSSID" 4, restart the network and wlan0   sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart     sudo ifdown wlan0 sudo ifup wlan0   5, problem encountered, canno access the external network   ping failed, ping failed.

LVM test

partition encryption in LVM

Tested the partition encryption of LVM in RHEL6 1, vgs -report information about volume group 2, lvs-report the information about logical volumes 3, create the logic volume, size 100M  lvcreate -n lv_lockbox -L 100M vgsrv 4, format the logic volume just created mkfs.ext4 /dev/vgsrv/lv_lockbox 5, create the mount point mkdir /mnt/lockbox 6, for security reasons, dump random data to the logic volume created cat  /dev/urandom > /dev/vgsrv/lv_lockbox 7, create the encryption partition based on step 4, here needs to input the passphrase.
