My white Dell laptop cannot switch on anymore, decided to dump it, and retrieved the hard disk, bought a external hard disk and converted it into a portable hard disk, it is working properly.

It’s important to remove the connection cap to expose the SATA serial port.
Below shows the picture of the cap to be removed.
After put inside the portable case.
