NUS MBA BMA5309 Fund Management in semester 2

BMA5309 Fund Management module was in semester 2 Academic Year 2018/2019, every Saturday from 9:00am – 4:00pm, totally 7 sessions.

This module was about investment, portfolio management, includes portfolio, assets, equity, fix income (bonds), hedge fund etc. There were two case studies, midterm quiz, final quiz, StockTrak Project and presentation.

Professor Aaron LOW is working in the industry and knowledgeable, knows the detail about the financial portfolio management. But this module also requires students to have a certain level of financial knowledge.

Stocktrak projecct is to use virtual USD 100 Million to do the investment. Stocktrak is simulating real stock market and you can do almost all the transactions the same as the market. At the end of the semester, we had a 20% return of our portfolio investment. And there was a group presentation at the last class, basically it’s about what we have learned during the Stocktrak project, Identification & Discussion of Key Trades (big winners and losers).
