The NUS MBA BMA5238 Data Monetisation was in special term 2 (24 June – 3 August 2019), it is an elective module. The professor was SANZ, Jorge. The class was on Monday and Tuesday evening 6:30pm – 10:00pm, around 7 consecutive weeks.
This module is mainly about how to make money with data in all line of business, like F&A, HR, Marketing, IT, Sales. etc. it is general ideas about data business.
The professor gave tons of readings, no text books was used. And professor invited quite a few industry experts into class to gave talks and testimony, like: VP in Changi Group who handles Digital and Commercial Systems, people from CoE in Finance and Accounting of Johnson & Johson, Fredrik Ohlsson from Tetra Pak (Chief Enterprise Architect), DBS Head of Analytics, Sr. VP of Ops in Marina Bay Sands, Head of AI in The Monetary Authority of Singapore, etc.

Three quizzes along the classes, MCQ questions.
One group presentation during the class, about one topic during the study, you can choose the topics you are interest, we chose the topic as Data Monetization in Singapore government public API.
One last group presentation in last class on 30th July 2019, the final project was an extension for the first group project.
